Vibing with V0: A deployed Subscriptions management app in <5 minutes.
A Friday Experiment Turned Full-On MVP
This Friday, I decided to quickly jump back into V0.dev and test out how far it’s come since I last used it — and the results honestly blew me away. Within minutes, I had a live, functioning Subscription Management App. Yes — with a dashboard, analytics, authentication, and UI navigation.
Here’s how it played out:
🚀 From Prompt to Prototype
All I did was type: “subscription management app”. And V0 spun up the first version for me. It included:
• Monthly/yearly spend overview
• Subscription count and due dates
• Category breakdowns
• Upcoming payments
• Recently added subscriptions
• A working login/logout flow
• Live deployment link
I added a sidebar nav, asked for authentication (which came with a demo login system), and fine-tuned a few UI details.
⏱ How Long Did It Take?
Start to live deployment? Under 5 minutes. No exaggeration. This wasn’t just a figma mockup or a static site. It’s a functional, deployable, and scalable MVP.
Sure, it still needs a connected backend for real-world use, but the bones are solid. For indie hackers, bootstrappers, or agencies — this kind of speed is game-changing.
🧠 Final Thoughts
This is one of those moments where you realize how much the tools have evolved. V0 isn’t just prototyping — it’s production-adjacent. If you’ve been sleeping on AI-powered dev tools, now is the time to wake up. I’ll be diving deeper into this in future videos and posts, especially around packaging and automation. Stay tuned — and enjoy your weekend!
